That’s the title of the catalog, which is already published online!
we’re very proud of the first results!
Today we went to IKEA with our friend Laura Subirats as a photographer, to take pictures for the cover of our catalog… There’ve been some awkward moments, when people stopped staring at us while we were “posing” at the sofas, but we’ve had an amazing time! Then, we’ve ate at the restaurant and reviewed the videos of the project.
We are going to gather all the information of our project in a kind of magazine, based in the IKEA catalogue design (the same typographies, the same pagination, etc.). There we’ll explain everything about the making off of the documentary, what happened in each house and, of course, how people live there. Probably, there’ll be a few pages devoted to some information and curiosities we discovered related to IKEA. Sorry for being that tatty… it’s just a draft so as to imagine how it will look like when printed!
Last week we interviewed Greta, Esmeralda and Eduard, a family that lives in the center of Barcelona whose house stunned us. They explained us plenty of anecdotes which will surely appear in the project!

This couple appearing in the screen are Pere and Rosa, the third IKEA family we’ve met. Actually, we interviewed them in July, but later we left on holidays and we had no time to upload the blog. We remember it as a absorbing morning in a very cosy house. We aim to start editing the documentary the following week…
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of visiting Tere and Dani’s home and interviewing them. This was an inspiring visit which helped us to get some new ideas for the project. More info coming up!
Today we have met the first IKEA lovers, a family.Laura, Jordi and Berta showed us their lifestyle. As they said, a house should always be a home.
A really nice beginning!
